Bounty: create a course in Open Academy Studio — contest conditions

Create your course in Open Academy Studio, publish it in "Explore" and get $OA for each course that passes moderation. The three best courses receive prizes in $USDT and $OA, the winner is chosen by The Early Squirrels.

Course submissions are open from October 20 to November 3, 2026. We will announce the results on November 10.

We want the Studio to feature courses from club members, and the best of them to be included in the Open Academy app catalog.

Prizes #

Prize pool: $190 in $USDT + 1,000 $OA for each participant whose course has passed moderation.

  • 1st place: 5,000 $OA + $100 $USDT

  • 2nd place: 3,000 $OA + 60 $USDT

  • 3rd place: 2,000 $OA + 30 $USDT

  • Each course that passes moderation: 1,000 $OA

Prize winners receive both the prize for their place and 1,000 $OA for passing moderation. We will add the best courses to the Open Academy app catalog.

Dates #

We accept courses until November 3 inclusive. Courses submitted later will not be eligible for the contest.

  1. October 20 – November 3: course creation and submission of links on the Bounty page.

  2. November 4–6: moderation and selection of finalists.

  3. November 7–9: club voting among finalists.

  4. November 10: announcement of winners.

How to participate #

Only members of the Squirrels club can participate. To join the club, you need a Squirrel NFT; details are on the club website.

  1. Create a course in Open Academy Studio — manually in the editor or via your AI agent connected to Studio. Course assembly via an agent is free; you only pay for images generated in Studio: an average of 4–6 cents per image. The agent can create vector images for free.

  2. Publish the course: click "Published", select "By link" under "Course access", and enable "Show in Explore". A course not in Explore is not eligible for the contest.

  3. Submit the link on the Bounty page on the club website. We accept web links of the format learn.open-academy.app/library/…

One participant submits one course. The participant purchases credits for image generation in Studio themselves.

Course requirements #

A course passes moderation and receives 1,000 $OA if all points are met:

  • at least 3 lessons;

  • lessons include quizzes;

  • the course has its own cover;

  • the topic is useful: not a test, not a placeholder, and not a copy of someone else's course;

  • the course looks neat and complete, not like AI-generated sludge: no fluff, repetitions, meaningless phrases, or random images;

  • the text is proofread by the author, and facts and examples are verified;

  • images correspond to the content;

  • the course is published "By link" with "Show in Explore" enabled.

A course does not have to be large and exhaustive, but it must be made with care. Raw generation without author edits will not pass moderation. The moderation decision is final.

How winners are chosen #

The club chooses the winner, but only from the finalists selected by the Open Academy team.

  1. From the courses that passed moderation, the team selects 5–7 finalists based on quality: topic usefulness, structure, presentation, visuals.

  2. Finalists are published on the Bounty page.

  3. Club members vote for the best course. Each club member has 2 votes. Only one vote can be cast per course.

  4. The three courses with the most votes take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

In case of a tie in votes, the Open Academy team determines the place.

Payouts #

$OA and $USDT will be paid within 7 days after the contest ends, i.e., by November 17.

Bugs and ideas #

While creating your course, submit any bugs you find and ideas for Studio in the club. We also award $OA for these, so don't forget about it.

Frequently asked questions #

Can I submit multiple courses? No, one participant — one course.

Can I participate with a course created earlier? Yes, if you are the author of that course. You can transfer it to Studio and adapt it to the Open Academy format.

Can I edit the course after submission? Yes, until November 3. After this date, we will evaluate the version published at the end of the submission period.

Do I have to make the course in English? No, your course can be in any language, for example English or Russian.
